SIA Group appoints Scoot CEO Leslie Thng as EVP

He will begin his duties as EVP on 1 July.

Scoot CEO Leslie Thng will take over the executive vice president (EVP) post at Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group starting 1 July.

Thng will retain his position as Scoot CEO whilst serving as EVP.

As EVP, Thng will report to SIA CEO Goh Choon Phong and the Board of Budget Aviation Holdings, Scoot’s holding company.

Thng entered SIA in 1999 as senior vice president of sales and marketing before he took on his current role.

From October 2017 to December 2021, Thng served as CEO of Vistara, SIA’s Indian joint venture with Tata Sons.
