OKP secures two LTA contracts to enhance commuter safety

The two contracts are worth a total of $102.1m.

OKP Holdings subsidiaries have secured two separate contracts totalling $102.1m from the  Land Transport Authority (LTA) to construct the Cycling Path Networks (CPN) and upgrading of road signs.

The first contract for the construction of four new CPN covering the regions of Central, Kallang, Bukit Merah and Bukit Timah was awarded to Or Kim Peow Contractor. The contract is worth $78.3m.

The contract started on 16 February 2024 and is set to be completed by 2025.

The second contract for the upgrading of road directional signs at non-expressway Roads was awarded to Eng Lam Contractors Co. The contract is worth $23.8m.

The 39-month contract started on 19 February 2024 and is set to be completed on 18 May 2027.

Currently, OKP’s net construction order book is approximately $612.0m, with contracts extending until 2027.
