Botsync earns Robotics - Manufacturing accolade at SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2025

The award was given to the company in recognition of its MAG1000 AMR Transfer Solution, which has transformed pallet transportation for PT Tri Centrum Fortuna.

Botsync scored the accolade at the SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2025, highlighting the successful implementation of its MAG1000 Pallet Lifter Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) that has enhanced the transportation process for PT Tri Centrum Fortuna.

The deployment has reduced labour requirements and costs whilst improving safety and efficiency in the company’s automotive manufacturing facility.

PT Tri Centrum Fortuna, a subsidiary of the Adyawinsa group, operates a stamping press facility in Indonesia, producing automotive components for automobile giants. To keep up with production whilst improving operations, the company needed a solution that would lower labour costs, increase safety, and streamline the pallet transportation process which was previously done manually.

Before the automation, the company employed 12 operators across 3 shifts to manually move automotive parts weighing between 500 to 800 kg. This method involved high labour costs, physical strain on workers, and safety concerns due to the risks of manual handling.

When Botsync’s MAG1000 Pallet Lifter AMR was introduced, it became an effective solution to automate the transportation of pallets across 17 pick-up stations and 7 drop-off points within the facility. The MAG1000 is equipped with intelligent navigation, sensors, and safety indicators to deliver smooth and safe operations in a busy factory environment.

Thanks to the MAG1000 and SyncOS™, Botsync’s no-code Automation Control Platform, now operators simply trigger the AMR workflow via a tablet, allowing the robot to transport the pallets automatically from the pick-up site to the designated drop-off point.

The MAG1000 AMR also automatically returns to its charging station when needed, ensuring continuous operations.

The implementation of Botsync’s MAG1000 has led to several positive outcomes, and reduced labour costs is amongst the most notable ones. The number of workers required for pallet transportation was reduced from 12 to 3, which brought a significant cut in cost without sacrificing operational efficiency.

The advanced automation has also impressed clients visiting the facility. This has led to a brand lift,  boosting PT Tri Centrum Fortuna’s reputation as an innovative leader in automotive manufacturing. The integration of Botsync’s MAG1000 Pallet Lifter AMR has revolutionised PT Tri Centrum Fortuna’s pallet transportation process, achieving a return on investment in just 1.5 years.

Botsync’s solution  demonstrates the transformative potential of AMRs in the automotive manufacturing sector.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
