Luli Tea & Coffee Pte Ltd wins AI - Food & Beverage at Singapore Business Review Technology Excellence Awards 2026

Luli Tea & Coffee Pte Ltd (trading as Luli Singapore) won the AI - Food & Beverage category at the Singapore Business Review Technology Excellence Awards 2026 for its TCM AI Mirror. This innovation marks a world-first integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with artificial intelligence to deliver hyper-personalised functional beverages at scale.

The platform utilises a facial and biometric analysis tool that identifies an individual's unique body constitution in under 30 seconds. This TCM AI Mirror employs a proprietary algorithm trained on over 3,000 years of diagnostic principles since ancient China to assess complexion, tongue features, and facial mapping. The resulting data integrates with a backend formulation engine that recommends and dispenses a personalised Remedy beverage matched to the user's needs.

Luli Tea & Coffee Pte Ltd uses Remedy Paste technology to concentrate active ingredients into stable formulations. These can be transformed into hot, cold, or sparkling drinks whilst maintaining herbal efficacy. All beverages use monkfruit as a zero-glycemic sweetener, which helps customers avoid sugar spikes.

During a pilot at Meta Singapore in March 2026, the company achieved a 100% success rate in AI-driven personalisation whilst serving more than 250 employees. Data from the pilot showed that 92% of users felt the recommended beverage accurately matched their wellness needs. The end-to-end service time from the initial AI scan to beverage delivery stayed under 60 seconds.

The platform makes personalised TCM accessible to the mass market by removing the need for lengthy consultations. Since its soft launch, more than 3,000 people in Singapore have experienced the AI Mirror. The company also opened a B2B wellness pipeline with three multinational corporations following the success of its initial activation.

Luli Tea & Coffee Pte Ltd plans to expand the modular architecture of the platform to its headquarters in China and other overseas subsidiaries. This includes a potential deployment across 500 outlets. The company is also developing a mobile application to allow users to complete the AI analysis remotely for pickup or delivery orders. Anonymised data from the mirror currently assists in research and development for new product formulations.
