MoneyHero Group wins at SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2025

The company introduced three-click travel insurance purchase in Singapore and Hong Kong.

MoneyHero Group earned the Digital - Insurance Broker accolade at the SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2025. As a leading personal finance aggregation and comparison platform, as well as a digital insurance brokerage provider in Greater Southeast Asia, MoneyHero stands out in Singapore by offering a comprehensive end-to-end journey for comparing and purchasing a variety of travel insurance solutions offered by leading insurers. Demonstrating MoneyHero Group’s commitment to user convenience, returning customers can now purchase travel insurance instantly in just three simple clicks.

This streamlined process enables MoneyHero’s members in Singapore and Hong Kong to purchase travel insurance in just three clicks. Members can compare, select, and purchase travel insurance policies directly on MoneyHero platform–without being redirected to third-party websites or repeatedly filling out forms. With this enhancement, users can compare real-time quotes from leading insurers, customise coverage to fit their travel needs, instantly purchase travel insurance policies without being redirected to other websites, autofill personal details from past purchases to save time, and receive immediate confirmation along with their policy documents.

This streamlined experience makes purchasing travel insurance as quick and easy as booking a flight or hotel online. By reducing the time spent on form-filling and navigating multiple websites, this feature helps users save over 75% of the time typically required to buy travel insurance. For customers, this means less hassle and faster access to insurance coverage. For insurers, the simplified process helps improve conversion rates and drive more sales.

Currently, MoneyHero supports more than 15 leading insurers in Singapore and Hong Kong for instant insurance comparisons and seamless purchases. Building on the success of this new feature, MoneyHero plans to extend the three-click purchasing experience to other insurance products and markets.

MoneyHero has already seen conversion rates double following the introduction of end-to-end insurance purchases. By eliminating form-filling–a common drop-off point in digital insurance transactions–MoneyHero anticipates achieving similar or better results with this new three-click feature. This enhancement provides travellers in Singapore and Hong Kong with a faster, simpler and more efficient way to purchase travel insurance.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
