MoneyOwl clinched win at SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2025

The company earned recognition with the launch of its free financial guidance platform for all in Singapore.

MoneyOwl triumphed at the SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2025 with the Online Services - Financial Services accolade, proving the efficiency of its MoneyOwl website, which offers free and comprehensive financial advice to all in Singapore. This is in line with MoneyOwl’s social mission to help enhance financial security in Singapore by providing financial advice at scale and developing solutions and programs to help people take action.

With MoneyOwl's online financial advisory suite, anyone can access expert advice at their convenience. This new platform empowers everyone to manage their finances confidently.

MoneyOwl’s platform provides step-by-step financial guidance that people at every stage of life would find easy to comprehend. Whether one’s starting a career, planning for a family, or thinking about retirement, MoneyOwl offers the tools and knowledge needed to make informed financial decisions.

The platform features OwlChecklist, in which expert-curated checklists that guide users through key life events can be accessed; and OwlInvest, where users can get actionable investment recommendations that are easy to implement and understand.. MoneyOwl has collaborated with POEMS to onboard globally diversified Amundi funds on the POEMS platform at no platform or advisory fee.

It also has the OwlStar feature, where transparent insurance comparisons and recommendations are offered. Users can explore detailed reviews of various insurance plans from different companies and coverage options to find the best fit for their needs.

MoneyOwl does not sell any products or make money from sales, so its advice is completely focussed solely on helping users make the best financial decisions.

MoneyOwl aims to provide financial advice to the masses. The platform has reached a sizeable base since its launch earlier this year, and with the actionable advice that is provided, MoneyOwl is confident that it has improved the financial confidence of all who have visited our platform.

MoneyOwl has worked with POEMS to onboard Amundi funds – globally diversified, passive index fund through POEMS, which makes low-cost investing accessible to everyone. With just a $1 minimum investment, anyone can start investing in high-quality funds. In its first month, this initiative attracted a sizeable number of investors, showing the strong impact of making financial products accessible.

This innovative approach empowers people to navigate their financial journeys with confidence and transparency.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
