Malaysia International Business Awards 2021 is now accepting nominations

The awards programme is accepting entries until 5 March 2021.

Located in Southeast Asia, with an ideal position for global expansion opportunities, it is no surprise that foreign companies are expanding into Malaysia and developing their projects and initiatives in the country.

To further recognise these highly innovative companies, Singapore Business Review is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for this year’s Malaysia International Business Awards.

The Malaysia International Business Awards is now in its third year to give recognition to the most outstanding initiatives of international firms in Malaysia! Nomination is open to companies in all industries in Malaysia with headquarters located abroad.

If you have any initiatives that highlight the excellent work of the company such as an outstanding project or service launched for or with a client, or innovative internal practices or strategies, and want to stand out as one of the best foreign companies in Malaysia, nominate now and get the recognition that your company deserves!

"I would like to thank Singapore Business Review for this prestigious award. It is an honor to accept this on behalf of all of our employees right across the region who have worked incredibly hard to relocate the business into Malaysia. To receive this award is great recognition for our employees for all the hardwork and efforts they have put in over the past three years that we've been in Malaysia," said Ian Prescott, Senior Vice President for APAC of McDermott Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd.

The company took home the Malaysia International Business Awards win in the Oil & Gas category in the 2020 installment of the programme.

The awards programme is an initiative to recognise the contributions of international firms to Southeast Asian economies.

Nomination is free and will be judged based on their uniqueness and innovation, effectiveness, and dynamism. A distinguished panel of experts will determine who will be the winners in the awards programmes.

Winners will be invited to attend an exclusive awards presentation which will be held on 20 April 2021.

Deadline for submission of entries is on 5 March 2021. For more information, contact Julie Anne Nunez at [email protected] or +65 3158 1386.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
