JTC tenders Woodlands and Tuas South industrial sites

Woodlands Industrial Park is in the confirmed list, whilst the Tuas South Link plot is in the reserve list.

JTC has launched one Confirmed List site at Woodlands Industrial Park E7/E8 and one Reserve List site at Tuas South Link 3 (Plot 19) under the first half 2018 IGLS Programme. According to an announcement, this is the third of six Confirmed List sites, and the third out of seven Reserve List sites for the first half of 2018.

The 0.88 ha site at Woodlands Industrial Park E7/E8 is zoned for Business-2 development and has a 20-year tenure with a maximum permissible gross plot ratio of 2.5. Industrialists are invited to apply for the site before the tender closes on 22 May 2018, 11 a.m.

Meanwhile, the 0.45 ha site at Tuas South Link 3 (Plot 19) is zoned for Business-2 development and has a 20-year tenure with a maximum permissible gross plot ratio of 1.4.

Applications may also be submitted to JTC for the Reserve List site at Tuas South Link 3 (Plot 19). Under the Reserve List system, a land parcel will only be released for sale if it receives an offer of a minimum price that is acceptable to the Government or when there is sufficient market interest for the site. Moreover, a site will only be considered to have received sufficient market interest if more than one party submits bids that are close to the minimum price.

“The launch of the sites is part of the Government’s efforts to offer more choices for industrial development,” JTC said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
