Chart of the Day: Sales volumes of offices priced over $2m rose 18.56% in 2019

There were 115 such deals for the whole year.

This chart from Knight Frank shows that the number of deals of strata-titled offices priced above $2m rose to 115 in 2019. This equates to an 18.56% YoY increase from the 97 deals recorded in 2018.

In contrast, the number of sales of office strata-titled units that are priced below $2m fell 20% YoY to 188 units in 2019, from hitting 235 deals in the previous year.

Proportion-wise, offices priced over $2m made up 37.95% of the total 303 caveats lodged for the whole year of 2019, up from only 29.22% in 2018 (97 deals against 332 caveats).
