Sora sells 23.2% of units at weekend launch

The average unit price was $2,160 per sq ft.

Sora sold 23.2% or 102 of its 440 units during its weekend launch on 6-7 July.

SingHaiyi, the developer, said that the units were sold at an average price of $2,160 per sq ft. A total of 320 units were launched over the weekend.

Sora offers 1-bedroom + study rooms, starting from less than $1m to 5-bedroom options. The most popular units are the 1-bedroom + study, which has sold over 80% of the available units.

Only 30% of the buyers are from Jurong and Clementi. In addition, SingHaiyi said that more than half of the buyers are under 40 years old.

The Sora Gallery on Prinsep Street will be closed from 8 to 12 July and will reopen to the public on 13 July. It will be open for viewing daily from 10 am to 8 pm.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
