URA releases 3.7-ha Jurong Lake District White site to support next phase
Town Hall Link site offers 186,139 sq m GFA with 1,200 homes and 40,000 sq.m. office space.
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has released a 3.7 hectare White site at Town Hall Link, Jurong Lake District (JLD) for sale under the Reserve List of the first half 2026 (H1 2026) Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme, the authority said in a statement.
The site has a total potential gross floor area (GFA) of 186,139 square metres (sq.m.), including a minimum of 40,000 sq.m. of office space, up to 1,200 private residential units, and 44,000 sq.m. for complementary uses such as retail, serviced apartments, hotels, recreational and community spaces, and medical clinics.
URA noted that the White site is intended to catalyse the next phase of development for JLD, supporting the precinct’s role as a mixed-use business hub outside Singapore’s city centre.
The site will be integrated with four MRT lines and connected to existing and upcoming infrastructure, including the Jurong Region Line, Cross Island Line, and future District Cooling Plant and District Pneumatic Waste Conveyance System Central Station.
The URA said government investment in JLD’s infrastructure, such as the revitalised Jurong Lake Gardens and new transport links, aims to reduce development risk and support confidence amongst developers.
The site is released via the Reserve List to give potential tenderers time to study the revised planning and tender requirements.
