H2G Green CEO Pek Hak Bin to step down after one-year term

Its board is now reviewing candidates as it resets priorities across core businesses.

H2G Green Limited said its CEO Pek Hak Bin will step down effective 31 May, following the completion of his one-year service term after taking the helm back on 1 June 2025.

According to the SGX announcement, he has informed the board that he will not renew his service agreement after the initial term but will remain in post until his final day to support the transition process.

The company also stated there were no disagreements between Pek and the board in relation to his departure.

The announcement added that the conclusion of his tenure coincides with the group’s transition into its next phase of strategic development, as the board reviews and recalibrates its business priorities across core business areas.

H2G Green said it is reviewing potential candidates for the role and will provide further updates when available.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
