Top three oil & gas stocks averaged total return of 105.3% QTD

Rex International leads the pack with a total return of 144.9%.

The three best-performing energy/oil & gas-related listed stocks have posted an average YTD total return of 95.7% and a QTD total return of 105.3%, according to an SGX report. These firms also saw its market cap exceed $100m.

Rex International leads the pack with a QTD total return of 144.9%, followed by PACC Offshore Services at 115% and Mermaid Maritime at 56.1%.

SGX’s energy/oil & gas sector generated a total return of 7.6% in October, the second straight month of positive returns after September’s +0.3%, and reversing the -8.9% total return in August.

Furthermore, there are 12 energy/oil & gas-related stocks in the local bourse with market cap above $100m. These players have a combined market cap of more than $18b spanning sub-segments such as oil exploration and production, subsea and offshore drilling services, offshore oil and gas contractors and offshore marine services.
