Eastern Holdings invests S$10m in Fullerton SGD Income Fund

The company currently has dormant funds in its corporate accounts and desires to obtain a more favourable return.

The board of directors of Eastern Holdings Ltd announced that the company has placed an order with Credit Suisse to invest S$10 million in the Fullerton SGD Income Fund based on Net Asset Value as at 1 October 2012 and with a settlement date on 4 October 2012.

The announcement said that the investment objective of the Fullerton SGD Income Fund is to generate long-term capital appreciation and/or income for investors in Singapore dollars by investing primarily in fixed income or debt securities.
