Three data centres will be developed in the Nongsa Digital Park (NDP) in Batam.
DBS and UOB have jointly provided a S$530m (IDR6.7t) loan for the development of a new data centre campus in Batam, Indonesia.
The project will be jointly developed by DayOne, a Singapore-based data centre developer and operator; and the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA).
This is reportedly the largest rupiah-denominated financing agreement ever secured for a data centre campus development, the two banks said in a press statement published on 5 June 2025.
Three data centres will be developed in the Nongsa Digital Park (NDP) in Batam.
Development is expected to be completed in end-2025, with the NDP data centre campus expected to have a combined IT load capacity of around 72MW by completion.
