Singtel sells Dash to Western Union as part of simplification plan

Dash has over 1.4 million users.

Singtel has agreed to sell its mobile wallet, Dash, to Western Union.

The company said the sale is part of its ongoing efforts to simplify its structure and portfolio to enhance innovation and growth opportunities.

Dash customers will continue to have access to all existing services while the sale undergoes regulatory approvals.

Dash currently serves over 1.4 million users.

Evercore Asia (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. was Singtel's exclusive corporate finance adviser for this transaction.
