Pizza Hut donates 1,100 pizzas to migrant workers

The pizzas were delivered to migrant worker dormitories across the country.

Pizza Hut and migrant worker charity It’s Raining Raincoats delivered 1,100 pizzas to migrant workers as part of the Deepavali Drive to celebrate the Deepavali cultural holiday on 14 November.

The drive saw over 200 Singaporeans and residents who volunteered for It’s Raining Raincoats’ distribute the pizzas by car and other methods of transport to migrant worker dormitories located across the country.

The charity initiative was established to improve the lives of migrant workers and to build bridges to strengthen their integration into Singapore’s broader community.

Celebrated annually, Deepavali, or The Festival of Light, is the Hindu Celebration of the triumph of light over darkness. The festival is celebrated across Singapore and the world.
