F&B sales rise 3.9% YoY to $997m in October

All F&B segments recorded MoM growth.

Food and beverages (F&B) sales increased by 3.9% year-on-year in October 2024, reaching $997m.

Online sales contributed 24.4% of total F&B sales, maintaining a stable share from the previous month.

Food caterers led growth with a 17.2% YoY rise, driven by in-flight and event catering.

Restaurant sales grew 4.8% YoY and 2.0% MoM, showing consistent performance.

Cafes, food courts, and other eating places saw a 2.0% YoY increase and a 0.3% MoM rise.

Fast food outlets recorded a 1.5% year-on-year decline but grew 3.1% MoM.

All F&B segments recorded MoM growth, reflecting an overall positive trend in the sector.
