ISEC Healthcare profit up 31% to $2.19m in Q3

Increased patient visits boosted its earnings.

ISEC Healthcare profits increased 31% YoY to $2.19m in Q3 thanks to higher levels of patient visits for its specialized eye care services in Singapore and Malaysia.

According to its financial statement. revenue from JLM Companies - JL Medical (Bukit Batok) Pte. Ltd., JL Medical (Sembawang) Pte. Ltd., JL Medical (Woodlands) Pte. Ltd. and JL Medical (Yew Tee) Pte. Ltd –boosted the company’s financial performance by $3m this quarter.

JLM Companies was acquired by ISEC Healthcare last December 2016.

Cost of sales correspondingly increased by 36% YoY to $5.1m due to incurred sales costs by JLM Companies.
