Hotel Fort Canning partners with GCF in tree planting campaign

According to a release, to commemorate 50 Years of Greening Singapore, Hotel Fort Canning is partnering with the Garden City Fund (GCF) to involve hotel guests in planting five trees at Fort Canning Park. This marks the first time a hotel is involving its guests in support of GCF’s Plant-A-Tree (PAT) Programme. This initiative will commence on Earth Day, April 22, 2013.

Launched in 2007, the PAT programme provides an avenue for individuals and organizations to play a direct part in greening Singapore through planting of trees. Individuals who want to support the PAT programme need to donate $200 for the planting.

From April 22 onwards, guests at Hotel Fort Canning can contribute directly to the PAT Programme, with the donation amount ranging from $10 to $200. Hotel Fort Canning aims to raise $1,000 for five trees to be planted at Fort Canning Park.

Hotel Fort Canning is located at 11 Canning Walk, Singapore 178881, Singapore.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
