UOL buys 180 apartments in Jakarta's Tower 2

The apartments will be redeveloped into a 180-key serviced suite.

UOL Group Limited (UOL) bought 180 apartments and ancillary facilities at Thamrin Nine’s Tower 2, Jakarta for $76.3m from PT Putragaya Wahana. The apartments will be developed into a 180-key PARKROYAL Serviced Suites.

According to an announcement, UOL has also signed a hotel management agreement by Pan Pacific Hotels Group Limited (PPHG) with PT Putragaya Wahana to operate a 200-key PARKROYAL Jakarta within Tower 2 of the same development.

Thamrin Nine is a 5.4-hectare mixed-use development situated along Jalan MH Thamrin Jakarta Pusat. It will be directly connected to the upcoming Dukuh Atas MRT Station via an underground link. The Sudirman Baru Station along the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Rail Link service line is also within walking distance.

Constructed in phases, Tower 2 is expected to be completed in 2022.
