Pan Pacific expands executive team to strengthen global operations

The newly appointed COO, CCMO, and Head of Development are expected to lead the expansion drive.

Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) said in a statement that it has expanded its executive leadership team to strengthen operational, commercial, and development capabilities across its brands.

Craig Bond was appointed Chief Operating Officer, Celine Du as Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer, and Kate Loh as Head of Development.

They join Andreas Sungaimin, Senior Vice President of People and Culture, Valerie Foo, Senior Vice President of Finance, and Wee Wei Ling, Executive Director of Sustainability Partnerships, Lifestyle and Asset with Choe Peng Sum continuing as Group CEO.

As COO, Bond will oversee operations across PPHG’s Pan Pacific, PARKROYAL COLLECTION, and PARKROYAL brands, focusing on consistent execution and guest experience across markets.

Du will manage commercial strategy, revenue growth, brand equity, and customer engagement whilst Loh will lead development planning, feasibility studies, and project management for new properties.

PPHG said its technology adoption covers the full guest journey, from digital pre-arrival services to AI-enabled on-property interactions.

Foo will oversee finance operations, integrating secure platforms, automation, and data-led insights to support scalable and compliant growth whilst Sungaimin will lead People and Culture initiatives to develop a workforce strategy aligned with new talent demographics.

Wee will oversee sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives across the Group.

Choe Peng Sum said the strengthened team will support the Group’s focus on luxury hospitality, serviced apartments, and MICE segments whilst expanding in key international gateway cities.

PPHG added that the appointments are part of succession planning and internal leadership development, aligning leadership capability with strategic priorities.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
