NTU launches research center on climate and health in the tropics
The facility will examine the health impact of climate change under three key pillars.
Nanyang Technological University (NTU) has launched a new interdisciplinary research centre focused on climate change and environmental health in the tropics.
The Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Health (CCEH) will examine the health impact of climate change under three key pillars: air quality, extreme heat, and water supply and quality.
CCEH is a university-level research centre that consolidates expertise from various institutions within NTU’s research ecosystem, including the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI), and the Asian School of the Environment (ASE).
The centre also plans to collaborate with local and international partners to develop evidence-based policies and real-world solutions.
