Singapore launches legaltech accelerator

Legaltech startups can sign up for a 100-day programme to help them scale their businesses.

The Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) launched the two-year Future Law Innovation Programme (FLIP) which allows participants to sign up for an accelerator for legaltech startups.

According to a press release, the accelerator, called Accelerate!, will be a 100-day programme to help legaltech startups scale their businesses. The programme will be launched in April.

The accelerator is part of FLIP's three components. The first two are a legal innovation lab near the Supreme Court and a virtual collaboration platform called LawNet Community.

SAL also partnered with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Singapore Management University (SMU) to work other projects under FLIP, such as the formation of a core legaltech team and cross-industry initiatives.
