Singapore Polytechnic forms strategic partnerships for workforce change
Manufacturing and accommodation are amongst the targeted sectors.
Singapore Polytechnic (SP) has formalised a series of strategic partnerships to support workforce transformation across multiple industries.
The institution collaborated with the Singapore Precision Engineering & Technology Association to launch the Sectoral Guide on Fair Workplace Practices for Manufacturing, aimed at SMEs.
In a separate agreement, SP partnered with the Food, Drinks and Allied Workers Union to co-develop human capital policy templates and review HR practices in the accommodation sector.
Both partnerships will leverage SP’s “Human Capital Collaboratory”.
The polytechnic also signed memoranda of understanding with the Association of Small & Medium Enterprises, The Block School, Blockchain Association Singapore, the Singapore Fintech Association, and The Ascott Limited Indonesia, as well as addenda with Elitez Private Limited and the Institute for Human Resource Professionals.
