Data breaches surge in Singapore over last two years

Singapore has a total record of 33,747,180 data breaches since 2004.

Data breaches in Singapore quadrupled in the past two years, according to Surfshark's Global Data Breach Analytics.

Over the last two years, Singapore has seen a 319% surge in data breaches totalling 65,702 incidents.

In Q4 2023 alone, Singapore recorded 86,317 data breaches.

Since 2004, Singapore has recorded 33,747,180 data breaches, placing it 38th amongst 250 countries worldwide.

Overall, Singapore ranked 38th globally in terms of the number of data breaches or leaked email addresses over the past decade.
