Keppel to divest data centre JV to Keppel DC REIT for $1.38b

The JV owns two data centres.

Keppel will divest its data centre joint venture to Keppel DC REIT for $1.38b.

Keppel's Connectivity Division and Cuscaden Peak Investments Private Limited own 60% and 40% of the joint venture, respectively.

The joint venture owns the Keppel Data Centre Campus at Genting Lane in Singapore (Campus), comprising two operational and fully leased data centres: Keppel DC Singapore 7 (KDC SGP 7) and Keppel DC Singapore 8 (KDC SGP 8).

A third data centre is planned for a vacant land plot within the Campus.

After the proposed transaction and call option exercise, Keppel DC REIT will assume full ownership of KDC SGP 7 and KDC SGP 8, with Keppel retaining its role as the operator and facility manager for both data centres.
