The search is on for the top technology companies in Malaysia

Deadline for submissions is on 5 March 2021.

With the global acceleration of digitisation, many companies are now tapping into the opportunities of technology and innovation, and Malaysia is definitely not lagging in this trend. As companies adapt to digitisation and automation, many are developing new technologies and solutions to help in their transformation and in the road to recovery from the pandemic.

To recognise these projects, Singapore Business Review is proud to announce the opening of nominations for the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2021. Now in its third year, the awards programme is back to laud outstanding companies that made exceptional contributions in pursuit of technological innovation.

The Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards recognises exceptional companies who are riding the disruption wave and are leading the technological revolution and digital journeys of their respective industries to boost Malaysia’s fast-growing economy.

"[It is] a great pleasure for us to be able to win this in two consecutive years in a row. Last year, we won in the same category and we are indeed proud and grateful for the recognition to be given. The team has done really really well to get these things done swiftly and effectively," said Lim Kee Yeong, Executive Director of Enterprise Banking of Affin Bank Berhad.

The company was recognised for its SME Colony project and bagged the Malaysia Technology Excellence Award for Mobile - Banking category in the 2020 installment of the programme.

Nomination is open to technology companies that pioneered ground-breaking IT products and solutions, as well as companies from across different industries with innovative technology initiatives that made an impact on their business.

A panel consisting of thought leaders and industry experts will carefully evaluate each entry. Winning companies will be invited in an exclusive awards presentation which will be held on 22 April 2021, Thursday.

If you have a successful tech project, service, strategy, or initiative, seize the opportunity and nominate for free! Deadline for submission of entries is on 5 March 2021.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
