FWD Singapore, Income Insurance partner amidst EV demand

Existing motor policies at FWD Singapore will remain unaffected.

FWD Singapore and Income Insurance have partnered to provide vehicle insurance coverage, which caters to both car and motorcycle drivers.

Starting on 2 July 2024, FWD Singapore will distribute the insurance underwritten by Income Insurance, enhancing its online insurance offerings and providing comprehensive coverage to customers.

Leveraging Income Insurance's expertise in vehicle insurance, FWD Singapore aims to continue offering competitive premium rates.

A year-long campaign will ensure customers benefit from these rates during policy renewals. Existing motor policies at FWD Singapore will remain unaffected by this transition.

"FWD remains committed to ensuring we have competitive offerings online and this partnership with Income Insurance allows us to achieve that. We are excited that we can expand further into the competitive vehicle insurance space through this partnership allowing our customers to get attractive deals online.” Adrian Vincent, CEO of FWD Singapore, said in a joint statement.

A notable feature of this partnership is the access to Income Orange Force, the Accident Response Team, which provides prompt support to Singapore’s motorists during unforeseen situations.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
