Great Eastern rolls out private platform as OCBC group access widens

It combines tailored coverage with a selected panel spanning trust health and international tax support.

Great Eastern launched the Great Eastern Private to deliver a new suite of solutions and services that support high-net-worth (HNW) individuals and families looking to preserve their financial legacy for future generations.

Great Eastern, a member of OCBC, said HNW clients will also have access to the wider group’s capabilities, including private banking services from Bank of Singapore and asset management services from Lion Global Investors.

Under Great Eastern Private, clients will be offered tailored insurance solutions alongside access to a curated panel of private wealth partners.

These cover seven areas: next-generation leadership, family advisory and trust services, health and longevity, international tax advisory, legal advisory, philanthropy, and global lifestyle concierge services .

The insurer has also partnered with Singapore Management University Executive Development to offer a cross-generational family programme focused on enterprise continuity, leadership transition and long-term legacy planning.

A dedicated space for HNW clients, the Hewton Fair Suite, has been set up at Great Eastern Centre.

The facility includes an on-site medical suite in partnership with Raffles Medical Group, offering same-day health assessments and access to longevity and wellness services.

Membership also includes 24/7 support from a multi-lingual global concierge service .

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
