Boxing crypto star Manny Pacquiao says his time isn't done yet

He has an upcoming fight in July with Argentinian champion Lucas Matthysse.

Singapore Business Review was in the press conference of the world welterweight championship, eight-division champion, senator, and cryptocurrency owner Manny Pacquiao and Argentinian WBA welterweight champion Lucas Matthysse, where they and their teams talked about their preparation and views on their opponent about their upcoming fight on 15 July 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Pacquiao mentioned that this is going to be a once in a lifetime fight in Kuala Lumpur. He believed that it will be an exciting match, which the fans will like. “In my life, I never think negative, I always think positive. That makes me focused. Whatever happens, I will accept it. That’s part of sports. I think we will win,” said Pacquiao.

“It’s a dream come true. It’s a great honour to fight Manny Pacquiao,” said Matthysse. He added that Manny’s time is over and he is confident that he can defend his title in this coming match.
In addition to the event, Pacquiao also clarified and reconfirmed his collaboration with Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) to launch his celebrity token, known as the Pac Token, which is targeted to launch in second half of 2018.

Pacquiao made news in the cryptocurrency world after he joined the lineup of star athletes trying to cash in on the frenzy using their own tokens. Bloomberg previously reported that Singapore-based crypto firm Global Crypto Offering Exchange sells celebrity tokens to investors in the frenzied initial coin offering space.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
