Singapore Grand Prix dangles promos to lure more racegoers

Fans can save up to one-third of ticket prices.

With only a week to go before the 2016 leg, promoter of the 2017 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix revved up its marketing activities to attract more crowd to the night racing event.

According to the release, fans can save up to 33% off regular purchase when they buy tickets between September and early December this year. Tickets are priced from S$258 to S$1,688. There are at least six more ticket categories that are offered at discounted prices.

Ticketholders of both 2016 and 2017 races may also win incentives by registering their ticket transaction numbers on the promoters website.

“We’ve certainly come a long way since the inaugural edition in 2008 and we are thrilled to be celebrating our tenth Formula 1® night race next year. This being such a historic milestone for Singapore, we intend to pull out all the stops to make it an unforgettable sporting and entertainment experience,” said Mr. Michael Roche, Singapore GP executive director.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
