G.H.Y Culture & Media poised to swing into profit in 2025 on TV production surge

Preliminary FY2025 shows turnaround on higher core revenue and improved film segment margins.

G.H.Y Culture & Media Holding Co., Limited is expecting to report a net profit for the full financial year ended 31 December 2025, based on a preliminary review of its draft unaudited consolidated accounts, the company said in a filing.

The projected profit is mainly attributed to higher revenue and improved margins from its TV program and film production segment, which forms the core of the group’s business.

The company also cited ongoing cost management measures as contributing to the improved results.

G.H.Y Culture & Media said it is still finalising its FY2025 financial results and will release full details in its upcoming announcement.

The company also noted that these projections are based on unaudited management accounts and cautioned shareholders against placing undue reliance on forward-looking statements.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
