Heidi opens Singapore hub after $65m funding

The AI platform can support 55,000 consultations, transcribing doctor–patient conversations into structured notes

Heidi opened its Singapore regional headquarters following a $65m Series B round led by Point72 Private Investments, committing up to $8m over the next three years to expand Southeast Asia operations. The hub will serve as the company’s regional base, supporting sales, implementation, and clinical partnerships.

The company plans 10–12 hires initially, with further expansion expected as demand grows. Singapore’s ageing population, projected to reach one in four residents aged 65 or older by 2030, has intensified clinician shortages, creating demand for technology that increases healthcare capacity.

Heidi’s AI platform has supported nearly 55,000 consultations in Singapore, transcribing doctor–patient conversations into structured notes to reduce administrative workload and increase clinician capacity.

Globally, Heidi’s tools process more than 2 million consultations weekly across 116 countries in 110 languages. The latest funding round lifted total capital raised to $96.6m, backed by Point72 Private Investments, Blackbird Ventures, Headline, and LocalGlobe.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
