SG to see a 20% growth in inbound cross-border M&A activity in 2023 

It is amongst the top growth markets this year.

Singapore is amongst the top 10 countries around the globe that will likely see the highest growth in inbound M&A activity in 2023, data from Norton Rose Fulbright showed.

According to the report, the Lion City will likely record a 20% uptick in its inbound cross-border M&A deals. 

Apart from Singapore, other top growth markets in Asia include India (+39%), China (+26%), and South Korea (+22%). 

Meanwhile, dealmakers also believe Singapore will be amongst the top countries that will see the biggest uptick in antitrust-related scrutiny in 2023.
