Singapore foreign investment up $8.4bn in 2010

More than $8.4 billion worth of foreign investments in the manufacturing and services sector came in for the previous year.

According to Statistics Singapore, $3.3 billion came from United States of America, $876.5 million came from Japan, $3.4 billion came from Europe and $1 billion came in from Asia Pacific and others.

The local market invested around $1.8 billion into the manufacturing and services sector as compared to the $3.4 billion in 2009.
