ThaiBev profit attributable to shareholders falls to $1.01b in FY 2025

The company proposed $0.0248 total dividend despite the 6.8% profit drop.

Thai Beverage Public Company Limited said its net profit attributable to owners for FY2025 fell 6.8% year on year (YoY) to $1.014b (Baht 25,361m), whilst its overall net profit declined 11.7% YoY to $1,246.12m (Baht 31,153m).

The beverage giant attributed the drop in profitability to increased investment, including brand-building and new product launches within the spirits business, as well as higher operating expenses stemming from restaurant expansion in the food segment.

This was partially offset by the group's beer business, which achieved an impressive 24.6% increase in net profit. This was supported by stronger sales in Thailand and favorable raw material costs. However, this was offset by a decline in the net profit of the non-alcoholic beverage and food businesses.

Despite the overall profit decline, ThaiBev proposed a final dividend that brings the total dividend allocation for FY2025 to $0.0248 (Baht 0.62) per share. This proposal, made on 25 November 2025, is now subject to final shareholder approval.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
