Sbr.com.sg doubles its readership to 120,000 in just 6 months

From 60,000 monthly unique visitors in Feb, sbr.com.sg surpasses 120,000 absolute unique visitors in July.

The rapid doubling of readership proves that more Singaporeans discover the site's unique and comprehensive news and opinion coverage. The Singapore Business Review team has been working on an improved flow of daily news stories and publishes more than 40 breaking stories everyday. Sbr.com.sg now has more than a hundred thought leaders and industry experts who submit their opinion pieces regularly.

“We are very pleased to announce that the website sbr.com.sg just passed through 120,000 absolute unique visitors in July, which is doubled from just 6 months ago. Sbr.com.sg remains proudly paywall free and is fast becoming one of the first choices for people to get their daily dose of news on Singapore,” says publisher Tim Charlton.

Sbr.com.sg is still in a content-sharing agreement with Yahoo. And just this year, we also partnered with SingTel to provide relevant news to its iPad app users. We recently added a jobs and careers page to the website where companies can post a job advertisement for free which shows in stories relevant to their industry and in newsletters.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
