HDB resale volume falls 14.6% in August

Year-on-year, however, volume rose 5.3%.

HDB resale volume fell 14.6% MoM in August, with 2,605 units transacted. 

On a year-on-year (YoY) comparison, however, the August resale volume was 5.3% higher. 

Most of the resale transactions in August were from 4 Room (43.4%), followed by 3 Room (24.7%), 5 Room (24.4%), and Executive (7.4%). 

By estate, non-mature estates took the lion’s share of transactions (60.5%). The remaining 39.5% were from mature estates. 

The top transaction in Aiugist was the resale of a 5-Room flat at Cantonment Road for $1.48m. 

In the non-mature estate, the highest transacted price was $1.2m for a 5-Room flat at Punggol Field.
