
July posts 33 million-dollar flats sold – second-highest in a month
This number accounts for 1.4% of the total resale volume in July.
Over 33 HDB resale flats worth at least $1m were sold in July 2022, up from 31 units in June 2022, property experts, 99.co and SRX, said.
This number also marked the second highest number of resale flats sold, which indicates that this trend will exceed the record-high flats sold in December 2021.
“The consecutive upward trend, though small, seems to indicate a trajectory where the current all-time record of 36 in December 2021 will soon be surpassed,” read the statement.
In July, Bishan posted 10 flats sold in a month, followed by Ang Mo Kio with five, Queenstown with four.
As for HDB resale prices, it went up 0.7% in July 2022 compared to June 2022. On a yearly basis, overall price increase for HDB resale is 11.6%.

Prices of mature and non-mature estates prices went up 0.8% and 0.6%, respectively, compared to June 2022.
A total of 2,363 HDB resale flats were sold in July 2022, representing a 10.5% increase from June 2022.
