URA launches four sites for sale

They can yield over 1,720 residential units.

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) launched four sites for sale under the 2nd Half 2017 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.

According to a press release, the sites at Holland Road and Handy Road are launched for sale under the Confirmed List, whilst the sites at Mattar Road and Canberra Drive are made available for application under the Reserve List.

About 1,720 residential units can be expected from the four sites.

Handy Road has a site area of 4,796.2 sqm and a lease period of 99 years. Permissible gross floor area (GFA) is at 11,446 sqm.

The tender for the residential site at Handy Road will close at 12 noon on 30 January 2018, together with another residential site at Chong Kuo Road and the Executive Condominium site at Sumang Walk.

Canberra Drive has a site area of 40,881.4 sqm and a lease period of 99 years. It also has a GFA of 57,234 sqm.

Mattar Road has a site area of 6,230.2 sqm and a lease period of 99 years. It has a GFA of 18,691 sqm.

Meanwhile, URA is adopting a concept and price revenue tender for the Holland Road site to shortlist "attractive" development concepts oriented to Holland Village's character.

Holland Road has a site area of 22,967 sqm and a lease period of 99 years.

The concept and price revenue tender for the Holland Road sale site will close at 12 noon on 20 March 2018.
