P&G Singapore to build $100m manufacturing facility

The consumer goods company, which employs over 2,300 employees, just celebrated its 35th anniversary.

P&G is celebrating its 35th anniversary in Singapore with the announcement of a $100m investment to build a new manufacturing facility in Singapore.

The new facility is expected to create more high-value-added jobs and make a positive impact on the local communities in Singapore, P&G said.

The consumer goods company first entered Singapore in 1987 with less than 100 employees. Today, P&G Singapore has over 2,300 employees from more than 40 nationalities, and serves as the APAC headquarters of P&G.

It also serves as the global headquarters for SK-II, Skin & Personal Care businesses, of P&G.

P&G has also partnered with the South West CDC and Enterprise Singapore to recognize 35 merchants in Singapore who are identified as “lifeblood[s] of the local community.”

P&G also shared plans to unveil the P&G Beauty Continuum during the upcoming World Congress of Dermatology (WCD) hosted in Singapore this July.
