Inter-Pacific Petroleum's bunker craft license revoked

MPA detected magnetic interferences from Inter-Pacific’s bunker tankers.

Inter-Pacific Petroleum is no longer allowed to operate as a bunker craft operator in the Port of Singapore, with its license revoked by the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore, according to an announcement.

MPA’s investigations revealed magnetic interferences affecting measurements of bunkers supplied in numerous Mass Flow Meter readings across Inter-Pacific’s fleet of bunker tankers.

The authority said that Inter-Pacific failed to ensure that its employees, including its cargo officers, comply with the terms and conditions of its license.
