ASL Marine posts $2.08m net profit in H1 FY2025

Earnings per share were at $0.0015.

ASL Marine Holdings recorded a profit after tax of $2.08m for the financial period ended 31 December 2024 (H1 FY2025), up 25.4% year-on-year, according to a bourse filing.

The group’s revenue decreased by 3.7% to $172.2m as compared to the corresponding period ended 31 December 2023 (H1 FY2024), due to lower contributions from ship chartering and ship repair, conversion, and engineering services, partially offset by higher revenue from shipbuilding.

Earnings per share for H1 FY2025 is $0.0015

As of 31 December 2024, the group had an outstanding shipbuilding order book from external customers of approximately $62m for 27 vessels with progressive deliveries up to the fourth quarter of 2025 (Q2 FY2026).

Subsequent to this, the group secured additional shipbuilding contracts for 20 vessels worth approximately $57m where recognition of income is expected after FY2025.
