As of 22 October, there were no other oil sightings at sea and ashore.
Singapore will continue monitoring for oil sightings as efforts to clear the remaining trapped oil between Bukom Island and Bukom Kechil are expected to conclude in the coming days.
Concerned agencies reported no other oil sightings at sea and ashore as of 3 pm, 22 October.
Meanwhile, PUB said it will continue to monitor the seawater intakes at its desalination plants.
PUB said seawater quality readings remained normal, and the oil leak did not affect fish farms.
