Singapore Maritime Foundation unveils changes to its board

The organisation will welcome two new board members in 2024.

The Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) announced two new additions to its board.

Starting 1 January 2024, Nelson Quek, regional CEO for Southeast Asia at PSA International and Jeremy Sutton, CEO of Swire Shipping, will serve as board members of SMF. 

Meanwhile, the terms of members Chua San Lye, Dean of Seatrium Academy and Ong Kim Pong, Group CEO Designate of PSA International, will end on 31 December.

“I welcome Nelson and Jeremy to the Board and look forward to working with them to advance SMF’s mission to connect the maritime ecosystem, build a talent pool for the sector, and transform the workforce as change in our industry accelerates,” Hor Weng Yew, chairman of Singapore Maritime Foundation, said.
