NeraTel secures $15m in Southeast Asia network deals

Frame renewals and variation orders include managed services for regional providers.

Nera Telecommunications Ltd has secured multiple contracts from two service providers in Southeast Asia, with a combined value exceeding $15m.

The agreements are expected to contribute positively to the performance of the group for the current financial year, according to the company’s SGX announcement.

The first agreement, a frame contract renewal, covers the delivery of smart services training programmes and the deployment of trained personnel across close to one hundred sites.

It also includes a 12-month managed services and ‘Network Operations Centre’ (NOC) component, providing operational support, maintenance, and network performance monitoring in line with customer service level requirements.

The second agreement comprises variation orders (VO) for similar smart services initiatives, involving the roll-out of training programmes and the deployment of personnel to more than one hundred sites.

The VO purchase orders include a longer-term managed services component of up to 60 months, covering NOC support, operations, maintenance and support services, and network performance monitoring.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
