Venture net profit down 9.3% in FY204

It also posted a 9.6% YoY decline in revenue.

Venture Corporation Limited reported a net profit of $245m for the financial year ended 31 December 2024, a 9.3% decline from the previous year.

The group reported revenue of $2,735.9m for FY2024, a 9.6% year-on-year decrease due to softer customer demand. However, revenue growth was recorded across most of its technology domains in the second half of the year, with strong performances in the networking and communications and advanced industrial technology sectors. This was partially offset by weaker demand in the lifestyle consumer technology segment.

The board proposed a final dividend of $0.50 per share, bringing the total FY2024 dividend to $0.75, including the interim payout of $0.25 in September.

The final dividend is subject to shareholder approval in April 2025 and, if approved, will be paid on 19 May 2025.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
