COE prices fell across all categories in February

Premiums for motorcycles dipped the lowest by 9.3% to $7,667.

All COE prices for February dropped at the last bidding, with small cars (up to 1600cc and 97kW) down from $40,000 to $36,810, according to the latest results from the Land Transport Authority.

Motorcycle premiums fell the lowest by 9.3% to $7,667. Premiums for big cars (above 1600cc or 97kW) fell 7.85% from $42,322 to $39,000, whilst for commercial vehicles they decreased 3.77% from $38,803 to $36,859.

Open COEs, which is for any vehicle type except motorcycles, slipped 2.76% from $39,903 to $38,801.

Total bids reached 6,429 in the first round and 6,595 in the second round.
