Singapore’s first quantum accelerator launches with deep-tech push
Four startups from 63 applicants were picked to join EnterpriseSG-backed five-month programme.
QAI Ventures has launched Singapore's first quantum accelerator, a five-month programme backed by Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) that aims to help quantum and advanced computing startups expand into the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market.
The inaugural cohort includes four startups selected from 63 applications across 12 countries. Each company will receive an investment package worth $300,000.
The programme includes coaching, masterclasses, access to investors and corporate partners, quantum computing resources, and 12 months of workspace in Singapore.
Running from July to October 2026, the accelerator includes four masterclass weeks, weekly one-to-one coaching between sessions, and concludes with an Investor Day and Demo Day, where participating companies will present to investors and funding partners.
The programme aims to support startups entering the APAC market and aligns with Singapore's National Quantum Strategy.
"Singapore made an early and patient bet on quantum, and that foundation is now translating into a commercial opportunity that is maturing," said Alexandra Beckstein, CEO of QAI Ventures.
The four selected companies are Quantum Logic from the Netherlands, Qualia Therapeutics from Armenia, QPICs from the US, and Regenesis Materials from Indonesia.
These companies operate in cryogenic quantum hardware, adaptive neurostimulation, photonic-chip manufacturing, and sustainable advanced materials.
Sophia Ng, Executive Director for Startup Ecosystem at EnterpriseSG, said the programme provides a launchpad for international quantum startups entering the region, whilst supporting local founders expanding from Singapore into Asia and beyond.
QAI Ventures established its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore in September 2025. The firm said its portfolio companies have raised more than $322.5m (US$250m) in follow-on funding from investors including IBM, GitHub, Toshiba, and the European Investment Bank.
